Welcome to the Saltash Library Writers GroupMonday April 21st 2008. Special guest meets writers and readers. Simon Hall reads extracts from his new novel 'The Death Pictures' and signs copies, see full story. Who are we? We are just a group of people, of all ages, from across south-east Cornwall, who like to write. What do we write about? Anything and everything. It might just be a short story, or a poem, even a limerick. Some of us are even trying to write our first novel. What happens at our meetings? That's up to you. The meetings are very informal, you can choose to listen to someone reading their latest piece, or you can read your own. Constructive criticism is the way by which the listener contributes. Sometimes we run a writing competition amongst ourselves, often we inform each other of competitions we have seen elsewhere. The most important thing is that we provide advice and support for each other. How do you join Simply turn up at the library between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on the third Monday of every month, you will find us upstairs.
